I did this for a friend of our family. He was always here when he was a kid. Seemed like one of our own. Now he's grown with his own family. I love painting in oils - but had no idea how much fun acrylics could be. The old window frame tops it off.

- I live in the rural south east corner of Ohio in what's commonly called Switzerland of Ohio. I've been married to my husband Marlon since 1989. We have 3 children, and 3 grandchildren. I took 17 years off of painting to raise kids, but started painting again in late 2007. While at the 2008 HOOT Painting classes in Columbus, OH I purchased a kit for Pen & Ink and Oil Rouging. Oh my, it's been so much fun learning this new technique. Portraits in the dry brush technique have also captured my fascination. My artistic talent is completely God given. I have never had any professional training, other than some local painting classes. I'm getting ready to venture into some watercolors, but I'm really not sure how that's going to turn out. I guess time will tell.
